Empowering Women's Mental Health: One Lipstick at a Time

Our Liptember Impact

Ok so you're probably thinking "What's Liptember & what does it have to do with Miss Monogram?"
Liptember is held in the month of September by the Liptember Foundation to raise much needed funds and awareness around Women's Mental Health issues & the lack of research with a female focus. Since it's beginning in 2010 the foundation has raised over $1.6 million for women's mental health programs and research.

Miss Monogram is all about empowering women to express their individuality and embrace their femininity with unique, personalised and quality fashion accessories.

To put it simply, we both want women to live their best lives! 💃
As you know (or are about to) Miss Monogram is a women owned, Mother-Daughter business. Womens health is deeply important to us, it literally affects every aspect of our business! Both Angela & Ashleigh have been personally touched by mental health struggles, we have had dear friends lose their battle with depression, family members struggle for years and Ashleigh is currently on her journey recovering from postnatal depression. We have always wanted to utilise our MM community to help support women centric charities, so when we found Liptember it was a hell yes!

For the month of September, Angela & Ashleigh wore bright lipstick to start the conversation about Women's Mental Health for Liptember. We shared shocking statistics about mental health in our community & things we can do each day to improve our own health.
Miss Monogram also donated $1 from every order made in September.
Together we made a difference, with your generous donations & shopping skills we raised $288 for the Liptember Foundation, helping to fund vital research and programs for women's mental health. It's a small step, but it's a step in the right direction.
At Miss Monogram, we believe that empowering women is about more than just fashion. It's about supporting each other, advocating for our needs and taking care of our mental health. Let's continue to spread awareness, break down stigma and create a more supportive community for all women.
Thank you for being a part of our journey!
